The Product Design team designs and accompanies new product releases throughout all phases of product development. This includes the first briefing, analysis of current colour and material trends, concept development, a detailed design process, taking into account our own Teufel design language, up to the final support of the product into series production. Our work is carried out in close interdisciplinary cooperation with other development departments such as Acoustics and Electronics, but also with Marketing, Market Research, etc.What is special about the product design department at Teufel?
The overall support in the creation of a product from the very first sketch to its market launch is unique, especially for us product designers. The development of an overall design strategy gives us many perspectives to shape the Teufel brand in a sustainable way. Through close coordination with other departments and our in-house prototype department, we create compelling products that express our passion for audio.
It's actually quite simple: I develop product ideas and concepts. But there is of course more to it than just "inventing". Together with our specialists such as product designers, acousticians, etc., I look at how we, as the devil, can enrich the lives of our customers. To do this, I talk a lot with experts, observe future trends, identify the potential for improvement and, of course, talk primarily to customers. In addition, it is my concern to bring even more innovation culture into the company and to involve every single employee.
The work is incredibly versatile and creative. I come into contact with all kinds of people inside and outside the company and can do something good for the people outside. What's great is that as an employee at Teufel I can really make a difference and the colleagues are open to new things.
